November 2007, Trichy, India - During Tracy Mooney’s trip to Trichy, India in Novmeber 2007 she learned of the need of motorcycles for transportation for two Indian pastors, Pastor Victor and Pastor Gilbert.

These pastors minister in the local villages and often couldn’t get there because they did not have transportation.

 In India an entire family will ride on one motorcycle, and this is the main form of transportation for many families, if they can afford a motorcycle.

Tracy was able to call home from India and put out the need for $2,000 to purchase two motorcycles. People responded and most of the money needed was wired to India in time to buy the motorcycles and present and dedicate them to the pastors on the last Sunday service before Tracy left India.

 There are so many deserving pastors who are in need of motorcycles in order to do their ministry.

When Tracy returns to India in January 2009, Vanguard Ministries would like to be able to purchase at least one more motorcycle. Each motorcycle can be purchased for around $1,000.
