RESORATION HAS BEGUN! Vanguard Ministries is excited to announce that we are in the beginning stages of restoring a building in Harrison, Arkansas, which will be used for various ministry events. Approximately ten years ago, we had a ministry called the Upper Room Coffee House in Harrison. We were certainly humbled and impacted bydsc04155-medium the Spirit of the Lord during the time that we had the Upper Room. A few months ago, I was hanging out with a friend who is truly a spiritual leader in the Arkansas area, and we were reminiscing about the “good times” at the Upper Room. I told her I would love to come back to Harrison, but only if I could rent the building that sits on 102 East Erie in Harrison, Arkansas.  This building has been the site of many spiritual awakenings of the Holy Spirit. January 5th, we made the decision to rent our new ministry building in Harrison. I am truly excited about what the Lord is doing and is going to do, not only in Harrison, but globally.

Vanguard has always been a multi-faceted ministry. Our mission consists of Training, Equipping and Sending Out! I don’t believe the walls of the church were made just to keep people on the pew. We are living in a time of strategic Awakenings. This is the time for “change!” I am excited that the Lord is positioning us in Harrison, Arkansas. We should be poised for revival, for an outpouring of the spirit, and for an awakening to God’s presence. One of our goals is to have a school of ministry. We have been praying and working on this school of ministry for two years. The school will train up generations to help bring RESTORATION to the body. This is a hands on school that will train the students to go out and do the “work.” Vanguard School of Ministry is based on Bethel School of the Spirit, headquartered in Redding, CA, and pastored by Bill Johnson. Many international doors for ministry have opened up, the harvest is white, and God is calling his people into the field. Our desire is to train people to facilitate the presence of God, whether in the workplace or on the mission field.

sany0870-mediumAnother aspect of the ministry is reaching out to unwed pregnant girls, and also those that have had abortions. We are in the process of establishing transition homes called House of Destiny, which puts focus on teen girls in other countries, such as Sri Lanka, Bulgaria, and India. These homes will provide housing for girls coming out of orphanages and transition them into “real life,” by teaching them skills and empowering them to sustain life on their own. I believe this will save many young girls from the sex slave trade that has become a global epidemic. We are also working on a group home for girls in the Ozark Mountain area that will focus on unwed pregnant girls, ages 13 to 25.  In the Harrison ministry building we will have group sessions for single moms that will RESTORE them back to the love of God and to the local church body. Vanguard’s vision is to train, support and equip these single moms so they can raise up a generation of children in the Lord.

It is Vanguard’s mission to work with the local body, in the unity of the Lord. We will also host numerous mini-schools and training sessions. Worship is such a vital part of our ministry; it is our vision to facilitate and create ansany0887-medium atmosphere to hear the voice of the Lord through worship.

We are excited about the vision that the Lord has given us. We need your support, and we want to give you the opportunity to sow into this project and many projects that God has given me the vision to press forward on.

Thank you your financial support and prayers.
