Girls Home
Vanguard Ministries Girl’s Home
Vanguard Ministries is in the planning stages of founding a residential program in southern Missouri for girls facing
life-controlling issues. Vanguard Ministries will provide residential programs free of charge to girls age 17-28 designed to address the whole person: spiritual, physical, and emotional. Our program will include life-skills and discipleship training and educational opportunities to help ensure the graduate’s success in society. Our goal is for each young woman to graduate from the program with a knowledge of who she is in Christ equipped to live a productive and full life.
Vanguard Ministries will serve young women from Taney and Stone County, Missouri, as well as all over the nation with varied socio-economic backgrounds. These young women will come facing difficult life-controlling issues such as unplanned pregnancy, abuse, depression, eating disorders, self-harm, and addictions. These young women will have a desire to change their lives and move forward. At Vanguard Ministries they will learn to have confidence in themselves and know God’s unfailing love for them as they gain life-skills to equip them for daily life.
For our pregnant residents, Vanguard Ministries will provide a program to help the young woman make the important decision to parent or to find adoptive parents for her baby. We will provide parenting classes for those who decide to parent and counseling to those who choose adoption.
Vanguard Ministries will operate debt free and will start the program after raising the operating funds needed. We do not receive any state or federal funding. We plan to start the program with five girls within one year in an existing home located at 200 Collins Rd. in Branson and expand as funds become available.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to partnering with you.
