THE CITY UNDER THE SEA

December 26, 2004 at 7:30am a devastating tsunami hit the coast of Sri Lanka. I felt as if I had the same type of tsunami hit my own life. On December 31st I was at the end of a season. As I sat watching the news around 1:00am, January 1st, I watched the report of the tsunami in Sri Lanka. I heard the Lord say, “Do you want to go?” Wow, Really!? I felt like a fish out of water! “Yes, Lord, I will go.” That night I told my friend, Melissa, (who ended up going with me) and my husband that I was going. The Lord gave me mid February as the time to go. During our time of preparation, Melissa and I met every morning to pray and soak in God’s presence. Each day we would lie down and soak to Todd Bentley’s CDs Marinating and Soaking. This was the key to everything. All we did was soak in His presence and He did it all! During this time, the Lord supplied $5,000.00, invitations to minister in Sri Lanka, and we had major angelic visitations, the kind where you are totally stuck for a while. We also soaked in Todd’s book Journey into the Miraculous.

During soaking, the Lord took me to a very high mountain. The adobe city below was hardly visible. Suddenly a huge wave covered the village and valley below. I thought the wave would overtake me, but it stopped at my feet. I was then standing on the ocean shore. The Lord told me to step onto the water, so I stepped out on to the surface of the ocean. When I stepped out the ocean turned into a sea of glass. Wow! I knew He was inviting me to come into the throne. He said, “Come up here, I want to show you something.” I climbed the crystal-like stairs to where He sat. I felt so much love and acceptance from Him. He told me He had been waiting on me. All along I thought I had been waiting on Him. He told me the view from up here is much better. I could see many villages and treasures in earthen vessels. Some of the treasures shown like lasers, others dimly, and some not at all. I knew He watched intently over the whole earth, nothing passes by Him. He said, “It is time to go on a treasure hunt, unlock the vessels and wash the dirt off the treasures so they might shine. On the way home a man shared with us that when the tsunami hit Sri Lanka and the water receded an old Portuguese city was revealed and many treasures were uncovered. Wow! Also, before I left a man told me when he looked at me he saw the word, “Portugal!”

One night in Sri Lanka we ended up staying in a not so good hostel. We felt the urgency to stay close to the Lord. I thought I heard Melissa say, “It’s time to soak,” so I replied by saying, “So you are ready to soak?” She looked at me and said she didn’t say a word. I know I heard an audible voice say, “It is time to soak!” As we lay down and began to soak to Todd Bentley’s Marinating CD, the weight of His presence came on us with an absolute spirit of rest, and we fell into a deep sleep. We woke up what seemed like hours later and the same track on the CD was still playing. The presence of the Lord was extremely thick in that room.

We had supernatural favor in hospitals where we prayed for every child, refugee camps, and villages. The children and adults swarmed us. We went where most visitors are not allowed to go. In the churches the Lord gave us incredible words of knowledge. The Lord supernaturally broke down the language barrier between us and our Buddhist driver. He watched as we prayed for children and then showed us other people that needed prayer in the refugee camps. Yes, he knew we were Christians!

The key is marinating, pickling in His presence and then giving it away!!!
